Alison Pill

Pill began her career at the age of 16 in Canada, but it was at least a decade later when she made her first appearance on the American film market. A few of her appearances were in an episode from the Canadian show Traders with Bruce Gray. Pill earned a place on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar. She narrated the episode with "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda". Pill's performance as Picard was then followed by an important supporting part as "Katie" as a character in Devs. The series that was created in collaboration with FX Productions on Hulu and hosted by the digital VFX company Double Negative, featured her throughout the series. It was apparent that the similarities to Picard did not end there because the primary theme the show was also identified to be the survival of consciousness inside an artificial creation similar to that which Data was preserved within, which was revealed at the time in the Picard season one's conclusion "Et the In Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
